Trying to work out what would count as evidence on long-time reader, before collecting any. This is the part I usually skip and it is the part that makes the rest useful.
If two explanations predict the same observation, observing it does not help. So: what observation would separate them?
There is: the practice category, and the calculators, both written for exactly that. Nothing there assumes chemistry, and the maintained documents show their working so you can check them by hand.
Happy to expand any of that if it is the useful part.
On long-time reader: the maintained page in the documentation commons covers the general case with citations and a review date, which is more reliable than any reply here including this one.
Long-time reader is a question about a distribution, not about a value, and treating it as a value is what produces the confident wrong answers.
Genuine question rather than a rhetorical one: has anyone here actually observed long-time reader, as opposed to read about it? The thread is long and I cannot tell.
