Posting this under the heading it deserves: NHS criteria and how they are applied in practice — the long version Everything below is what sits behind that.

A narrow question about NHS criteria, deliberately narrow, because the broad version has been asked here four times and produced four long threads and no answer.

One question, stated units, stated method, and what I have already ruled out.

NHS criteria has been discussed here with more heat than it deserves, mostly because two definitions have been in play the whole time.

This follows post #8 rather than contradicting it.

An update on my earlier NHS criteria post: the pattern held for another six weeks and then stopped, which I did not predict and cannot explain.

Narrowing post #9, because the general version has more than one answer.

Distinguishing three things in the NHS criteria discussion that keep getting used interchangeably: the observation, the proposed mechanism, and the recommendation that gets attached to both.

sa.rasmussen, post #11: Pharmacy practice varies between pharmacies and is not deducible from the regulatory position. Two people can honestly report opposite experiences. Go to post

MHRA is the regulator. Licensed incretin analogues are prescription-only medicines. NHS and private prescribing routes exist with materially different access criteria and costs.
