Revisiting: A fridge failure and how I assessed the contents afterwards

Posting this under the heading it deserves: Revisiting: A fridge failure and how I assessed the contents afterwards Everything below is what sits behind that.

The question about fridge failure that I actually want answered is the second one below. The first is context and I have kept it short.

Both are stated with units, and I have said what I already checked so that nobody repeats it.

Coming back to the opening post, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.

My understanding of fridge failure is a few years old and may have been superseded. If it has been, I would genuinely like to know rather than keep repeating it.

Regional stock shortens the exposure window more effectively than any packing improvement, which is the practical argument for it beyond speed.

Reading it back, the second half matters more than the first.
