Early satiety becoming a problem rather than a benefit — setting out what I have, and where I think it stops being reliable.

A methods question rather than a substantive one, about early satiety.

Everyone quotes the same figure and I cannot find anyone who says how it was arrived at. That is not an accusation; it usually means the derivation is somewhere obvious and I have missed it.

j.marchetti, post #2: The most useful reply I ever got about early satiety was a request to state my units. It sounds like pedantry and it has saved me twice. Go to post

Summarising the early satiety thread so far, since it is long and the answer is buried: the first reply has the method, the fourth has the correction to it, and the rest is people agreeing at length.

What I would tell a new member reading about early satiety for the first time: the confident posts are not the reliable ones, and the reliable ones are longer.

Confirming post #12 from a second method, which matters more than confirming it from a second person.

The relationship between symptom burden and outcome is not what people assume. Feeling worse is not evidence of a larger effect and feeling nothing is not evidence of an inactive preparation.

The reasoning is more useful than the number, which is why I have shown it.

Hair shedding some months in is described frequently here and is more consistent with rapid weight loss than with any direct drug effect. That distinction matters because it points at protein and pace rather than at the compound.

This is where my knowledge stops and I would rather mark the edge than blur it.
