An observation about storing lyophilised material long term that I cannot explain and am posting anyway, on the principle that unexplained observations are more useful public than private.
Adding the measurement that post #24 says would settle it.
Container choice matters: the material of the vial, the rubber closure, the fill volume all affect how quickly the contents degrade. Smaller fill volumes lose less to adsorption. Glass vials lose less to leaching than plastics.
I am reporting what happened, not recommending it.
Lyophilised material is far more stable than the same material in solution. That is why suppliers ship it dry, and it is the reason to reconstitute only what will be used.
On storing lyophilised material long term, the part that usually goes wrong is that the question is asked as though it has one answer. It has a range, and the width of the range is the interesting bit.
If you can post the two or three numbers you are working from, several people here will check the arithmetic rather than argue about the conclusion.

Protecting from light: amber vials or opaque containers reduce light exposure. If you are storing for long periods and light matters, this is worth doing. For short-term prepared solutions, ordinary storage away from direct sunlight is usually adequate.
It is worth checking rather than assuming, which costs nothing.
