Amber vials or opaque containers reduce light exposure. For short-term storage, keeping the vial in its original packaging (often opaque) usually suffices. Go to post

Travel with medication: carrying a vial across borders requires planning if temperatures will exceed the range or if journey time is long. Insulated travel cases with ice packs are common solutions.

I have left out the parts I could not verify.

I read post #99 twice before replying, because I had assumed the opposite.

Customs holds are the most common cause of an unexpectedly long transit, and they are also the segment nobody has visibility of. Tracking gaps are usually that rather than a lost parcel.
