When your prescriber and the evidence disagree — that is the question, and I have not found it answered plainly anywhere I have looked.

What changes if the standard account of prescriber is wrong? I ask because I have been treating it as settled and I noticed this week that I could not say why.

Working through the consequences rather than the evidence, since others here are better placed on the evidence.

The documentation on prescriber is better than this thread and I say that as someone who has posted in the thread.

Coming back to post #9, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.

Clarifying indication: if a compound is approved for diabetes but you have obesity without diabetes, clarify whether your clinician considers this off-label use and what the evidence basis is.

I read post #14 twice before replying, because I had assumed the opposite.

If someone has run prescriber properly I would rather read that than my own reconstruction of it. Posting mine only because the thread has gone quiet.
