Follow-up: Reporting a discrepancy without making an allegation

Reporting a discrepancy without making an allegation Writing it up because I had to work it out twice and would rather nobody else did.

A follow-up question about Reporting a discrepancy that I did not know to ask the first time.

The earlier thread answered what I asked. What I should have asked is below, and I think it is the one that matters.

Selective submission and selective reporting are the two easiest ways for a result to be shaped, and blinding addresses the first while a commitment to post addresses the second.

I am not the right person to answer the follow-up to this.

I read the opening post twice before replying, because I had assumed the opposite.

Posting my Reporting a discrepancy numbers with the method attached so they can be discounted properly. Uncontrolled, unblinded, and collected by someone who wanted a particular answer.
