Prescription portability between countries
I had written a reply contradicting post #7 and deleted it. Here is what survived.
Speaking only to prescription portability between countries as I have actually seen it, rather than as it is usually described: the effect is real, it is smaller than the thread suggests, and the variance between people is larger than the effect.
Prescription portability between countries came up in a thread eighteen months ago and was answered well. I cannot find it, which is itself the problem, so here is the reconstruction.
Picking up post #48: that is the part I would want checked first.
Prescription portability between countries: I would want to see the raw numbers rather than the summary before agreeing. Summaries lose exactly the information that would settle this.
Answering the question post #58 raises rather than the one it answers.
Reframing prescription portability between countries slightly, because I think the disagreement is about the question rather than the answer. If the question is "does it happen", yes. If it is "how often", nobody here knows.
Worth separating two things that post #63 runs together.
An honest declaration on prescription portability between countries: I have a prior here and it is strong enough that you should weight what I say downward. Stating it rather than hiding it.
Post #85 answers the question as asked. The question underneath it is different.
On prescription portability between countries: the maintained page in the documentation commons covers the general case with citations and a review date, which is more reliable than any reply here including this one.
