Document outcomes rather than forecasting them. A forecast in this category reads as reassurance and is not one.

Transit times by route, from a logged dataset
This is a generated summary. It shows the 6 most-liked posts from a topic of 39, in their original order, with the accepted answer included where one exists. It is a reading aid and it will miss nuance — the full topic is the record.
Answering the question post #16 raises rather than the one it answers.

p.boateng, post #11: The most useful reply I ever got about transit times was a request to state my units. It sounds like pedantry and it has saved me twice. Go to post
Post #18 answers the question as asked. The question underneath it is different.
Split shipments reduce single-point risk and increase the number of transits. Which trade is right depends on what you are protecting against.
Building on post #32 rather than restating it.
Tracking stops updating: tracking last updated days ago usually means the package is in transit and will not update until it reaches the next scanning point. No update for weeks means it might be stuck.
On reflection I would soften that slightly.
