Why our vendor pages link the storefront and mark it sponsored — that is the question, and I have not found it answered plainly anywhere I have looked.

Asking about vendor pages link the storefront directly, because I have read four threads on it and each answered a slightly different question.

The version I want answered is the narrow one: given the method stated below, is the result within what anyone else has seen? I am not asking what it means yet.

Method, numbers and the two assumptions I am aware of making are below. If the assumptions are wrong that is more useful to me than agreement.

Adding the boring version of vendor pages link the storefront, because the interesting version keeps getting posted and the boring one is usually right.

Check the ordinary explanations, in order, and stop when one of them accounts for what you are seeing. Most of the time the second one does.

Where I part company with post #7, and it is a narrow parting.

Do not adjust a reported figure. Post what the laboratory said and put your interpretation in a separate sentence.

The right answer here may simply be that it has not been measured.

Adding the measurement that post #13 says would settle it.

Posting my vendor pages link the storefront numbers with the method attached so they can be discounted properly. Uncontrolled, unblinded, and collected by someone who wanted a particular answer.

Coming back to post #20, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.

Do not adjust a reported figure. Post what the laboratory said and put your interpretation in a separate sentence.
