Why our vendor pages link the storefront and mark it sponsored

Solved
Solved by endo_fellow_rk in post #8
Adding the boring version of vendor pages link the storefront, because the interesting version keeps getting posted and the boring one is usually right. Check the ordinary explanations, in order, and stop when one of them accounts for what you are seeing. Most of the time the second one does.

Why our vendor pages link the storefront and mark it sponsored — that is the question, and I have not found it answered plainly anywhere I have looked.

Asking about vendor pages link the storefront directly, because I have read four threads on it and each answered a slightly different question.

The version I want answered is the narrow one: given the method stated below, is the result within what anyone else has seen? I am not asking what it means yet.

Method, numbers and the two assumptions I am aware of making are below. If the assumptions are wrong that is more useful to me than agreement.

What "verified" means on our pages: specific lots were independently measured on stated dates by named services and results were consistent with the supplier's documentation. It is not a recommendation and does not extend to untested lots.

Vendor pages link the storefront is one of those subjects where the general answer and the answer for a specific case diverge, and the thread will go in circles until someone says which one is being asked for.

On post #2 — agreed on the reasoning, with one qualification.

For anyone finding this later: the short answer on vendor pages link the storefront is that it depends on one thing, and the rest of the thread is people identifying which thing.

Adding a note of thanks rather than an opinion. I did not know most of that.

Reports of ordinary results are more valuable than reports of remarkable ones, precisely because only the remarkable ones get posted elsewhere.

Post #8 is the version of this I will quote in future. One addition.

The question underneath vendor pages link the storefront is usually "how would I tell?" rather than "what is true?", and that one has a method attached to it.

Write down what you would expect to see under each hypothesis before you collect anything. If they predict the same observation, collecting it will not help.

Where I part company with post #7, and it is a narrow parting.

Do not adjust a reported figure. Post what the laboratory said and put your interpretation in a separate sentence.

The right answer here may simply be that it has not been measured.

Answering the question post #9 raises rather than the one it answers.

Adding a small correction to the vendor pages link the storefront summary above rather than a disagreement with it. The substance holds; one of the figures is out by a factor that matters.

Vendor pages link the storefront is a good example of a question where the honest answer is boring and the interesting answers are unsupported. I would go with boring.

Multiple services on one lot: agreement across two independent laboratories is stronger than a high number from one. Our vendor pages deliberately mix services for that reason.

Post #13 is the version of this I will quote in future. One addition.

What I want from this vendor pages link the storefront thread is the list of things that would need to be true for the claim to hold. If we can write that list, we can check it.

Post #13 describes the usual case. This is about the unusual one.

Dosing and purity: a vial that is 99% pure might contain 80% of its label claim if the other mass is water, counter-ion, and excipient. Purity and content are different. Both matter for different reasons.

It is a small point and it changes the answer, which is an awkward combination.

Adding the measurement that post #13 says would settle it.

Posting my vendor pages link the storefront numbers with the method attached so they can be discounted properly. Uncontrolled, unblinded, and collected by someone who wanted a particular answer.

Careful with the language on vendor pages link the storefront. "Not detected" and "not present" are different findings and the first is a statement about the method.

The cost of a submission is worth stating. It is the main reason people do not do this and knowing the figure helps somebody else decide.

The reason vendor pages link the storefront is hard to answer is that the obvious measurement and the relevant quantity are not the same thing, and substituting one for the other is silent.

Coming back to post #20, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.
