I changed my mind about red flag after someone here asked me for the source and I could not produce one. That is worth saying out loud because it is the ordinary way it happens.

The strongest single signal available cheaply is what happens when you ask a technical question. A quantitative answer inside a working day is difficult to fake at scale.
