Repeat determination on the same product line months apart is the measurement that speaks to consistency, and consistency is what most buyers actually want.

The right answer here may simply be that it has not been measured.

Counterpoint on interpreting a result, offered without confidence: the same observation is consistent with a much duller explanation, and nobody has ruled the dull one out.
