Airline travel with a temperature-sensitive injectable — what changed since posts 91–96

This is a continuation of a long topic, addressed by post number rather than by page. Start at post 1.

e.ferreira, post #63: What I would want before treating Airline travel as settled: the method, the sample, and whether anyone tried to find the opposite result. Two of the three are usually missing. Go to post

Post #90 answers the question as asked. The question underneath it is different.

Summer routes and winter routes are genuinely different problems, and a supplier that changes its packing between them is doing something rather than nothing.

Same conclusion as the reply above, reached differently, which is mildly reassuring.

Adding the boring version of Airline travel, because the interesting version keeps getting posted and the boring one is usually right.

Check the ordinary explanations, in order, and stop when one of them accounts for what you are seeing. Most of the time the second one does.

The confident answers on Airline travel and the well-sourced answers are not the same answers, which is the most useful thing I have learned reading this category.

Worth separating two things that post #92 runs together.

Dry ice is rarely used for this material and brings its own transport constraints. Its absence is not a shortcoming.

Someone will know this better than I do and I hope they say so.

Coming back to post #92, because the follow-up matters more than the original answer.

The interaction between cold chain and the storage question is that a warm transit spends part of the material's stability budget before it reaches you, and the budget is not visible.

If the premise is wrong, everything after it is decoration.
